Corel has many tools for post processing and editing. PaintShop competes with Adobe Photoshop effectively with a rich set of intrinsic features. PhotoShop CS6 has many capabilities which are more advanced for graphics arts projects. With 64-bit Windows 10, Photoshop has the maximum memory available.
Avid is more sophisticated. Avid is widely used for post processing in addition to compositing. Avid can work with a wide range of video sources but ordinarily professional editing is done with uncompressed clips. 8K video clips need substantial SSD storage.
